New Project: Yoko Muffler

It may surprise some of you that on top of the other dozen or so hobbies I dabble in, I knit. I’m not particularly skilled (e.g. I can’t do lots of fancy stuff), but damn if I can’t make a decent scarf at least.Sooooo I have decided to work myself out a muffler like the one Yoko wears in Gurren Lagann. Yes, it’s a muffler, not a scarf - note that you never actually see the ends of it. As far as I can tell it’s actually just a little tube. Unfortunately I can’t knit it as a regular tube if I want to make the stripes look right, so instead I’m knitting it like a regular scarf and then I’ll either sew it up in the back or maybe just find a way to clip it in the back. I’m not really sure yet.

But now, if I can just get a hair clip and sunglasses like hers, I could wander around AX with them without really needing to cosplay. ♥
