That’s right, I still haven’t even really talked about Geass episodes 24 and 25, have I?

It kicked ass. I don’t care what anyone else says. Who really expected them to “wrap things up” all the way when there’s an entire second season to do? Which they found out about at the last second, no less?

Besides, I still think it’s silly to expect any real subtlety or depth in Geass - watch it for the batshit crazy characters and plot twists.

Seriously though - as much as I loved Suzaku punching Lloyd, I lost any and all respect I had for Suzaku at this point. He’s a father-killer, he acts like a dick, and now he’s just got a hate-on for Zero/Lelouch and no longer seems to care so much about his ideals, or about improving the lives of elevens from “the inside” of Britannia. I kinda hope he dies so a better foil for Lulu can stand in.

That said: oh, my sweet Lelouch and your imouto complex ♥♥ Though admittedly, that sakuradite bomb thing was kinda cheesy. And why was Kallen so upset when she found out Zero’s identity and said she felt used? She already knew he wasn’t an eleven. And I don’t think she knows Lelouch’s true identity as a former prince of Britannia, either. So, WTF, Kallen?

Seriously though, this show just gets more and more awesome. It DOES feel a bit aimless - even Lucky Star feels a little more organized and point-ful - but it doesn’t matter because the show is fantastically animated and absolutely hilarious. I loved it when Sensei spotted the hikikomori in a…locker? or something, slammed the door in her face, and then just wrote down that she wasn’t absent. ♥ And the obsessive stalker girl sitting under his desk for easier head-giving? Fantastic.

Now, Potemayo. Who’da thought I’d like a show about face-humping babies so much? (She’s a goddamn BABY, okay? Also, how is that even though she appears to be wearing diapers, every time she wets herself it gets all over the place? Or maybe all those lumps AREN’T diapers. Iz dat sum cancer??)

Anyway. It’s insanely cute and cutesy, but also honestly funny. Though I gotta ask, what’s with this guy?

…Uber-pedophile? Chubby chaser? Or…both?

I don’t have any fun screencaps for Darker than Black, but I like where I think it’s going (albeit quite leisurely). In 18 we saw a doll that actually emoted, fully - at the end of the episode she might as well have been a normal person. We’ve seen hints of emotion in Yin too. And of course, Hei is a lot less stoic than he acts. So I can’t wait to see more. But hey, Bones?

Throw me a freakin’ bone here. GIVE US HEI’S IMOUTO-CHAN. I’m pretty sure she’s the one in the white dress in the ending theme. If you don’t let us see her I will be forced to write some (probably terrible) fanfiction. You have been warned.
