This is decidedly a rumor, but this blog offers what appears to be comments by an Odex employee named Stephen Sing - you may recognize his name from that letter I posted about, because he’s the one who signed it.
In the alleged forum posts, he brags about the number of downloaders he’s sued. He says he’s “too busy sueing [sic] people,” and that “Hahahahah! I double-6-ed so many downloaders~ serves them right!”
Judging by the evidence provided, the account is almost certainly his, though it could have been hacked into and used by someone else. After all, his name is right on that letter, and the people he’s pissing off are Internet junkies. So I’m calling it rumor.
But still, it’s atrocious. Not just the bragging, but his use of the tilde (~) in place of the period? Horrendous, Mister Sing.
