Thoughts:
I think I’ll need to watch more of this before I decide. On the one hand: yuri themes and catfights, woot! On the other hand, the main character (Mari) is kind of a bitch, and the other lead, Hagino, doesn’t seem a lot better.
The series starts with Mari being dumped off at a swanky all-girls private school because her grandmother is becoming too sick to care for her (unbeknownst to Mari). On the way she sees a girl standing out on a rock in the middle of some body of water who is surrounded by seagulls.
She gets to school, hrumphs around, and is finally taken to her new dorm room. Turns out her new roomie is– you guessed it –the girl on the rock, Hagino. She finally perks up a bit, except when she and Hagino shake hands (*cough*), Hagino has a vision of some kind and tries to strangle Mari. She wakes up for it, but as you might imagine, it doesn’t help Mari warm up to her new home.
Call me crazy, but if I had a roommate who tried to strangle me, I’d actually, y’know, call the cops or something. Or at least tell the dorm counselor. You know, something other than just keeping quiet about it except to start a 3-on-1 catfight at the cafeteria later.
But it looks like wacky shit, and the siren song of yuri content calls, so I’ll keep watching.

I watched this too and I hope it gets better in the yuri department. This show is also sci-fi, so I want to know why are those alien ships hiding there and what not. At least the girl is an hot alien girl XD
