Code-E Sequel Announced
You know, I’m actually pretty surprised. I mean first off, it was a very light series– cute, but not particularly outstanding –and it didn’t even have a particularly open ending either. (Not to mention no one in the show has a nose.)
And yet, here you have it: the official Code-E blog announces that a season 2 is on the way. No word on when; I kind of find myself hoping it’ll be another summer series. Somehow the light and fluffiness of the show seems appropriate for summer.

Not an open ending? The whole thing that frustrated me about Code E’s ending was that almost nothing was actually wrapped up besides the fact that Science geek and Ebihara-chan want to jump each other’s bones.
I mean, otherwise, we still got the german twins twisting in the wind, with one of them possibly dead or dying and no indication of what their family’s goals are or what they want Chinami for, and then there’s the whole thing where we have no idea what the hell that sinister watch dude actually wants or why he took over a whole “CITY OF THE FUTURE” just to play around with the Powers of the E Types and apparently triggering them into destroying said city!
So yeah, I’m definitely looking foward to S2. >_>
Nice–that’s what I figured, that they simply weren’t finished with the story yet. Looking forward to more low-key, unpretentious goodness.
PLEASE tell me we’ll get a soundtrack this time! I want a full version of the OP so badly.
