Checking In
Current Mood:
Sleepy
Man, you guys are whiners!
Yes, I know I’ve been horrifically quiet this week. And so much to talk about– FUNimation vs Atari? VIZ going live-action movie adaptation-happy? Ghost Hunters licensed!? That show is so awesome…er. *cough* Sorry.
Anyway, the reason for my silence is because after coming home Monday afternoon all sleep-deprived from Yaoi Con, I went straight to Japanese class. Then on Tuesday I started a new part-time job. Then on Wednesday I had more class, more work, and Halloween to deal with, and today and tomorrow more of the aforementioned part-time job.
Next week should be a weeeeee bit less crazy (and I will have, like, SLEPT over the weekend). I plan to spend a lot of time catching up on anime this weekend (including finally, FINALLY! watching Ghost Hound), and I’ll do my best to catch the blog up to the news.
Now, the trick is that Thursdays and Fridays I will now be unable to reach my blog to update for a good chunk of the day. (My monitor at my new gig is HUGE and it is RIGHT where anyone passing by could see it, so not much wiggle room there.) But I’ll do my best the rest of the week, I promise! ;)

Grats on the P/T job, Gia! Just glad that everything is ok (even though it is exhausting). I am really interested to hear what you think about Ghost Hound. I will have to see if your opinion matches mine. Heh.
Get some rest this weekend!

If you want me to be able to do the news full-time, pay me full-time wages. Or convince someone else to. ;)

You have too many good excuses! Sounds like you need some r&r time.
I’m undecided on Ghost Hound, it’s spooky and comes across well made… but none of the characters seem very real (cartoon, not real, hmm), ok they don’t seem very endearing. Suppose they’ve got a whole season left to change that. I’d love to find out what happened in that town though…
