Dining, Weaboo-Style
Okay, I really should be catching as many Zs in my alloted four hours of sleep time prior to when I have to drag my ass to Manhattan, but DMV from Japanator linked me this and the weeabitch in me just can’t resist.
It’s a listing of restaurants on New York City for weeaboo (for those not in the know, weeaboo is how you ’spell’ wapanese, which is a slur for the kind of anime fans who sprinkle the six Japanese words they know into their regular conversations, even with non-anime fans, and the like). No, not the best Japanese restaurants– but the places to get the foods you see in anime, from yakiniku to okonomiyaki to cakes that are lies to pocky.
Wait, pocky? Uh, I can get that in my local Safeway here in Portland. Is that not the case in NYC or something?

I dunno about NYC, but Pocky’s extremely hard to come by for me. I’ve only had the luxury of purchasing it a handful of times.
