Did someone say FFXIII extended trailer?
Why yes, someone did. Trailers are up of both Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII, but no Agito trailer– sad.
The FFXIII trailer makes me think of Final Fantasy VIII both in world setting (that tunnel makes me think of Esthar City) and in weaponry (a weapon that can change from gun to sword? HMMM!). Fortunately, neither of those are the items that annoyed me about FFVIII, so all is well.
Meanwhile the FF Versus XIII trailer reminds me a bit of this one Kingdom Hearts 2 trailer in appearance. Argh, I can’t find the KH2 trailer– the one where guys in Organization cloaks fight up the side of a building and stuff.

Hey, I just noticed– the FF Versus XIII trailer says “CLOUD” in the upper-right corner. Hmmm…

The Versus trailer just has “CLOUD” in the corner because it came with the Final Fantasy “Cloud” book. So nah, it doesn’t really mean anything interesting.
