Utada Hikaru Rips Off Shokotan; Is Less Cute
Don’t get me wrong– I like Jpopper Utada Hikaru a fair bit. But this photo from Kotaku of Hikaru biting her Nintendo DS just brings up too many memories of otaku queen Shokotan eating her cat. But cat-eating is way cuter than electronics-eating, don’t you think?
Hikaru should stick to being superior to Shokotan music-wise (Shokotan sings, but as far as I know doesn’t write her own music, as Hikaru does) instead of trying to one-up her on photos of putting strange things in her mouth, if you ask me.

Ever think that she was just making FUN of whoever that other girl is? (saw her pictures and wow shes not eating the cats shes like, sucking on them… o.O)
宇多田ヒカルさん points out the obvious a lot in sarcastic mannerisms. Notice she is wearing a similar hat.
