According to ANN, Hataraki Man and Happy Mania mangaka Moyoco Anno, wife of Evangelion director Hideaki Anno, is taking time off from Hataraki and her other project, Ochibisan, for the sake of her health. She apprently thinks it’ll be a long break and does not specify what health problems she has. Hopefully it’s nothing too dire, ’cause I want me some more Hataraki Man.

Maybe she’s pregnant? :)
It’s just a theory, but it’s quite common for famous people in Japan to have maternity leave disguised as a illness for privacy reasons.
