Floodgates Open! Media Blasters Rescues Geneon Title

Anime on DVD reports that an extra on the KITE: Liberator DVD has announced that Media Blasters has acquired the license to release Seirei no Moribito from the mostly-defunct Geneon, the first rescued license from that debacle thus far.
Hopefully that means more is on the way, however!

Technically, I think FUNimation announced a while back that they were going to snag some of Geneon’s back-catalog, but I can’t remember the details. Maybe it was just a statement-of-intent rather than saying they picked up any particular license.

@shrug: they announced that they were trying to open communications with Geneon, but no specifics or definites were given. :)
