ComiPress has word that Type-Moon has announced their newest game project: Mahoutsukai no Yoru - Witch on a Holy Night. It’ll be based on an unpublished story by co-founder Kinoko Nasu, who wrote pretty much all of Type-Moon’s popular games as well as the Kara no Kyoukai novels.

Akiba-CH has more on the story’s plot: the main heroine is actually a character seen in both Tsukihime and Melty Blood, Aoko Aozaki, the descendent of a mage family. She is witnessed using her magic by a country bumpkin who comes to believe that all urbanites have such powers; since she isn’t supposed to let anyone see her powers, Aoko is convinced that she has to kill him…except instead they wind up all living together in a mansion with Alice Kuonji, a school mate and fellow mage of Aoko’s.

More info will come available on April 21st. And an anime adaptation? Yeah, probably eventually.

I love Aoko. This looks awesome!

I believe Alice Kuonji was the prototype main character for fate/stay night and was just never conceptualized fully… i could be wrong and mixing up names.

I do like Aoko… I will be looking forward to when this comes out..
