CLAMP’S ‘Clover’ Omnibus to Jump from T-Pop to DH?

Bloggers/detectives Chloe Ferguson and Kuri have spotted a listing on Amazon for an omnibus edition of CLAMP’s manga Clover, which– if the Amazon listing is correct –will be published by Dark Horse in December.

The big news here? Clover, a 4-volume unfinished CLAMP work, has been published in individual volumes by TOKYOPOP. A license grab, perhaps, or a joint work? CLAMP is publishing their new mangettes project with Dark Horse.

I have an e-mail out to Dark Horse asking for comment. If I hear anything worth posting, you’ll all be first to know. :)

Always happy and appreciative to have people who can get the answers we seek, and heads out right away to do so! Yay you! :) I hope Dark Horse sheds some light on the situation.

@Kuri: I hope so too! (Though I don’t expect much more than a “can’t comment at this time.”) :)

I found some interesting and exciting news / confirmation here.

“This year marks Dark Horse’s twentieth year of publishing manga. … Dark Horse will also be working with CLAMP, starting with “Clover,” and and launching “Mangettes” “Clover” will be edited by Karl Horn, whom Atkins said would elicit a much bigger reaction at the anime convention “THE Karl Horn?, you would say.”"

Whoops. And now I notice that you already posted about this in your own report about the Dark Horse panel.
