ACEN’s Over, Let’s Gear Up For Fanime!

So, Fanime– which will be hosting a significant and unnamed chunk of GAINAX, in spite of the lack of major announcement on that fact…apparently because GAINAX didn’t want it publicized; see here –is this weekend!

So here’s the list of companies I’ll be attending panels for or seeing, and this time I’m also including the list of guests in case anyone has questions for them, too. Just leave them as comments on this post or, if for some reason you want some anonymity, e-mail them to me.

Friday:
- Bandai Entertainment

Saturday:
- Broccoli International USA
- Dark Horse

Sunday:
- Gainax (ticketed event, not sure if it’ll be panel format)

Companies who will be there but have no panels:
- Dr.Master
- MediaBlasters

Aaand guests announced so far:
- An Cafe
- Ryan Gavigan
- Carl Gustav Horn
- Hidenobu Kiuchi
- Reuben Langdon
- Ric Myers
- Maika Netsu
- Jonathan Osborne
- Gilles Poitras
- Dan Southworth
- Richard Waugh

Interestingly, relatively local company VIZ isn’t having a panel or a booth, although there are a couple of showings prevented by them (Death Note anime, for example).

So, anyway! Your questions. Let me see them. ♥

    Hi Gia, I was wondering if you could ask Media Blasters if they have a street date for Seirei no Moribito and if it will be dubbed; and ask Broccoli about their BL manga line - nothing has been mentioned about it in months. Thanks for the hard work!

    Hey, are you gonna hit up the aniblogger meet-up at 12 noon in the Marriot lounge?

  3. IcyStorm Says:

    I wish I could go… but San Jose is a 5 hour drive =/

  4. gia Says:

    @lolikitsune: Which day?

    @gojyo: You got it!

    @IcyStorm: aww…

  5. WG Says:

    Just one question for Broccoli - Any word on Pandora Hearts?

  6. CCY Says:

    For the aniblogger meetup, it’s Sunday. Hope to see you there. ^^

    And I heard Bandai canceled their panel, from what I read in the forums. Might want to check up on that.

    I’m staying at the hotel where the Gainax event is being held (The Fairmont); I wonder what they have planned. Hope to see you there, Gia. Heck, we might even bump elbows and not even know it.

  8. Ash Says:

    Questions for DrMaster (I’m a fan of King of Fighters and SNK vs. Capcom):
    1) Will they release part 2 of King of Fighters Maximum Impact? At the end of part 1, there was a mention of the story continuing in part 2.
    2) Will they release ANY manhua/manga, etc. from SNK’s/Capcom’s franchises?

    Sometimes, I feel like I’m the only one reading the KOF/SVC graphic novels…
    THANK YOU, GIA! :)
