FUNi’s Slow Ouran Info Roll-Out

Yeees, FUNimation has started their announcements for Ouran High School Host Club– and not a moment too soon, seeing as they announced it last July, and I think they’d had it for a while before then –starting with the director, who will be Caitlin Glass (aka Winry in Fullmetal Alchemist and director of Hell Girl).
FUNi will announce two cast members for the show every Friday starting June 6th at the official Ouran website, leading up to Anime Expo, which is going to be “THE event of the summer,” or so I’m told.
So, there you have it: we’re finally going to get some Ouran news. Anyone care to start making guesses on who will be cast as who?

As your picture is of Honey, my first guess will be for him. I’m thinking maybe… Kimberly Grant? Mostly because she played Momiji in Fruits Basket; similiar character casting. My brain is fried past that, so I’ll have to ponder guesses further. Definately looking forward to seeing how they do dub-wise and people’s casting guesses in the meantime.

Vic Mignogna as Tamaki. At ACen he said it’s a role he’s wanted for awhile, & at a different panel he said he was cast in a role he was excited about, but couldn’t discuss yet.

I’m guessing vic mignonga as the entire cast of boys, just to irrate gia they will do this. Luci Christian for honey?

Hey Gia! Thanks for the info! I knew you’d bring out some good news…. HAHA Glad i had a chance at meeting you at ACEN! :) btw… i was the dude with the girl with the hat at the panels that were canceled! LOL DAMN Viz! HAHA :)

Since I don’t watch English dubs, I don’t care which Valley Airheads they hire. They all sound equally out of place.

@Joe: Heya! I contacted VIZ and they actually didn’t have any clue that they were supposed to have a panel at acen– I don’t think they even had any reps there. -_-
@Tamotsu: Yeah, part of me feels that way too. But when I was still working at animeOnline (sister company to FUNi) I suggested to the brand manager of Ouran that they hire some new blood for the voice cast. She I believe left FUNi, but I’m still holding out hope that maybe that one little suggestion got left behind…
