Anime Gets ALIVE

Another new anime announcement today: Tadashi Kawashima and Adachitoka’s Alive -Saishuu Shinkateki Shounen- (”Alive -Final Evolution Boy-” literally, but the official English title is “Alive: The Final Evolution”) will see an anime adaptation. Del Rey has been releasing the manga in English, with four volumes out to date.
The series follows a boy named Taisuke, who lives a pretty normal life with his childhood friend Megumi and his older sister, a nurse…until a virus appears that causes people to kill themselves. After his friends disappear, Taisuke discovers a strange ability and sets out on a journey to find his companions. Along the way he instead meets other people like him, who have survived the virus outbreak and now have unusual skills. Now they have to figure out why they’ve been spared and where the virus came from in the first place.

The manga is pretty interesting, i’ve read the first two volumes, and got vol 3 today actually.
Think shonen with mortality themes i suppose… maybe
Anyway, the manga is good enough, i’d watch the anime.

This manga is very interesting. I like the battle in this manga and I also like Hirose. The story is quite interesting too.
