‘White Album’ Gets Animated– No, Not a Beatles Anime
The Moon Phase diary links us to MangaOh, whose description of the new G’s Magazine suggests that H-game maker Leaf’s White Album is going to get anime-fied– the second in to be announced in recent time, since Tears to Tiara is also going to be animated.
The plot of the game is not the typical guy-must-get-with-one-of-several-heroines, but rather, the guy already has a girlfriend named Yuki and he has to manage to keep her. The trick is, the two of you both just graduated from high school and are going to college together, and are therefore too busy to spend much time together. Also, there are lots of other hot chicks, so I guess you have to decide whether to cheat on her and how to get away with it.
It’s just like real college!

That actually sounds like a pretty original plot in such a stale genre. Can’t wait to see it.

Though if they can get game dated so far back to animate (10 years late?), kind of makes you wonder if the market really have no good new ideas…
Just don’t screw up the animation like ToHeart Remember my Memories, I’ll punch someone ;_;

Rather astounding that almost no other eroge maker caught up to that (guy already has gf) kind of idea. White Album is an entire decade ago for goodness sake!
