Kodomo no Jikan: Now 100% More Scam-y

Borderline Hikikomori reports that a screencap of Kodomo no Jikan, of all things, was used in a scamtastic ad for a digital TV converter. At first I didn’t really buy it (someone could have easily shopped that after the fact), but Crisu took the cap himself and has a chuckle over the fact that the ad mentions parental controls while showing an image of a show probably no parent would knowlingly let their kids watch.

Though it’s such a bizarre coincidence (why not pick something more well-known, like Naruto?) that I can’t help but think that maybe the scammer’s an otaku and it’s just one more little joke on newspaper readers…

EDIT: Crisu now has the full image of the ad (it’s BIG, btw).
