Quickie: ‘Vampire Knight’ Will Ride Again
Dated: 23 Jun 2008

SaiAni reports that in the next episode of the Vampire Knight radio show is going to feature an announcement: a second season of Vampire Knight is in the works, due to start this October.
I hope it gets a quality boost over the current season. It’s been decent, but occasionally I spot some serious QUALITY…

Actually, I thought Vampire Knight was to be 26 episodes long. I guess all they did was split it up into 2 thirteen episodes seasons. That seems to be the trend in recent years.
It would be nice if they increase the quality but I will still watch it nevertheless.

I don’t even know what to think about that. The present quality of the anime is horrible…HORRIBLE. For such a great series it deserves so much better. It would also be better too if they stuck more to the manga rather than veering off here and there.
I’ve given up on it.

I gave up on it long time ago. The manga is also starting to lose some of its original charm with all the twist and weird weird revelations (like the weird WEIRD ASS revelations that Tsubasa Chronicles give us nowadays). I wish some of the better series that deserve a second season get one i.e Potemayo. The present quality of the anime doesnt really present much of an interest for a second series, or even where the storyline is going if they do follow the manga.
