They’re Really Doing It! Simon Dakimakura!

Some time ago, an image of a Simon dakimakura (hug pillow) cover appeared on the Internet (pictured, left)– a parody, created by a clever fanartist. But now it looks like a real Simon dakimakura is in the works, and hitting streets on August 29th.
Now, in spite of jokes to the contrary, I am not actually a shota lover. But still, I’m establishing a DO WANT on this baby, for the sheer novelty of a guy dakimakura. Unfortunately, the preorder price is ¥10,500 (about $100 USD).

…erk, shota. I wonder who the target is (aside from shota fans), though I suppose most people would buy it just for the novelty value.
Fan-made dakimakura of male characters have been around for quite some time (my favorite and the one I really want is of Ishida Ryuuken from Bleach, it’s hilarious), but I always thought that some BL company would release the first official one… once again, I underestimated Gainax.
