    Looking at all this coverage, and then realizing that it was all written by one person in only four days, there’s one thing that’s abundantly clear:

    You’re freaking nuts, Gia.

    Freaking nuts.

    Good work. (^_^) b

  2. Niko Says:

    Wow. I thought I was busy just reading all that. You did a lot of good work. Now go take a nap.

  3. gia Says:

    @Scott: Peanuts? Peanuts are yummy.

    Oh, but they’re not really nuts. Hmm…

    Thanks. ♥

    I hope you were able to breathe and eat between posts some.

    Yikes! That’s a lot of news. Anime Expo seems like the largest anime convention of the year. A lot of news and announcements come out that convention. I didn’t really realize it was that big.

  7. gia Says:

    @scottfrye: It’s actually the biggest anime convention in North America. This year they announced that they had 43,000 paying attendees; with press, staff, and industry they think they may have hit the 50k mark.

    I forget who it was, but someone suggested to me that it was the biggest in the world, since the well-known cons in Japan (read: Comiket) are doujinshi, not anime. But the Tokyo Anime Fair had 107k attendees last year, and even the Japan Expo in Paris had 80k last year. I just mentioned that in case whoever I was talking to is reading this =P

    Just wondering since I’ve noticed this a lot and wanted to be sure. The comment above, is that some sort of automated feature that happens whenever your post is linked on another site?

  11. Benu Says:

    You forgot to cover the Anime Genesis/Anime Diet Live panel! It was the best panel at AX!
