New Geneon Releases Get Dated

Let the rejoicing begin: the first new Geneon release (via FUNimation) will be on August 19th, and it’s Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage volume 1 (regular and limited edition). Then come Karin 4 (September 2nd), Shakugan no Shana’s box set (September 9th), and a bunch of stuff on the 16th, 23rd, and 30th. Here’s a full list, with thanks to Anime on DVD:

I guess there’s not going to be a way to get separate artbox for all the [i]Shana[/i] dvds I already have, from Funimation at least. I just may have to import the Australian Shana 6 dvd that comes with a collector’s box after all.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about how I had the discs but no box. I’d like to hope that they’ve leaving a space in the box for the OVA, and that they’ll release a version of the OVA with a box, but I somehow doubt that (I would have though that if the OVA went in the box, it would be released first)
Unfortunately, it’s not really worth buying the box set and selling the discs I have just to get a box.
