No Cameron ‘Battle Angel,’ But ADV’s Got Your Fix

In a move that Anime on DVD predicts means that James Cameron has suspended or cancelled his plans to do a movie based on Battle Angel Alita (or else I’ve missed something), ADV has announced that they’ve got copies of their release of the 1993 two-episode OVA that they’ve dug up and will now sell, $19.99 a disc.
Which is a good price for a classic– and, if you’re so inclined, an excellent way to help ADV build up some capital with which to keep chugging along.

I didn’t hear anything about Cameron dropping the project. Maybe they’re just predicting due to lack of any news about it. I would think releasing the OVA would be good to promote any upcoming movie.
Either way, $20 is a pretty good price for it.
