SDCC: Hiro Mashima Draws Natsu
Categorized Under: Con Reports, Features
Dated: 27 Jul 2008
During Fairy Tail creator Hiro Mashima’s spotlight panel, he did a drawing of Natsu which I took video of– here it is, for those of you who didn’t get to attend to enjoy! (The preview image might look a little funny, because the one second they pulled the image from happened to be the one second that some woman swooped in front of me. Sorry ’bout that, but the video’s fine, I promise.
There’s no speeding up in that, by the way, he does do it that quickly. It was pretty cool to watch, and Mashima-sensei was a fantastic guest, willing and able to take some of the audience’s stranger questions (including mine). I hope he comes back someday!

Thats pretty awesome but I just keep seeing RAVE in all of his fairy tale stuff…which is why I kinda gave up on that manga. :???: But why does all his recent stuff look nearly identical to one piece characters…

@Hinano Yeah, I saw the similarity of Fairy Tail in One Piece too, which to me is not a bad thing at all. (One Piece is the pest piece of art in history!)
