Itasha Goes Official With Miku Madness

“Uoooo! Finally! Itasha makes its official debut!”

So sayeth Ascii, reporting on the first instance of itasha– from the word for “ouch” and “car,” referring to the extensive otaku decorating some add to their vehicles –seen on an official racing vehicle, which is the Miku Hatsune BMW Z4.

The racing team is Studie&GLAD with Asada RACING, and you can see another shot of the car on their official website, as well as an official website for Hatsune Miku and Studie&Glad with Asada RACING. (Christ, long name.)
