Were you aching for another Haruhi Suzumiya game for the Wii? No? Well, I guess that’s because that first one isn’t even out yet…
But that won’t stop Sega from announcing another game anyway! It’s been provisionally titled the same name as the original anime (Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu/The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya), but don’t let those ships fool you: this game won’t follow the Remote Island Syndrome arch of the anime. Which is a shame, since that could incorporate a really nice Phoenix Wright homage.
No, it’s got its own original story, and it will be an adventure game. Let’s just hope that if the girls wear swimsuits, that they’re all able to wear them right side up (yes, RIGHT SIDE UP. She wasn’t wearing it BACKWARDS, bloggers, it was technically upside-down). ♥
