The Time Has Come, My Friends

Yes, my friends, my project, my vice– my Anime Vice –has finally gone live. You can make your accounts and start editing the encyclopedia– there’s a LOT of work there to be done!
What does that mean for giapet? For the time being, it’ll remain mostly quiet. For about a week or so I’ll post once a day and link to all the news I’ve posted on Anime Vice that day, as a little nagging reminder to y’all to go to the new site. After that, I’m not sure if giapet.net will have a role or not. My content will pretty much always go to Anime Vice (including season previews).
So to those of you who’ve been readers and commenters here, thanks so much. It’s been such a boost to me throughout this lengthy year in which we were developing the new site! I hope you’ll continue to follow my stuff at Anime Vice. Editorially it’ll be pretty similar to the way this blog has been, but with a few additional contributors, and probably considerably more volume of content (certainly more than the last couple of months!).
And yes, there are still bugs to be worked out on the Vice, as is always going to be the case with the new launch. Feel free to poke me and let me know any problems you’re having, or put them on the dev bugs forum thread, and I promise they’ll get looked at.
So thanks again, and hopefully thanks in advance for trying out Anime Vice! Here are today’s posts:

Congrats!
I kinda wish these sites would cross over with each other, its kind of annoying adding things on GinatBomb and AnimeVice..
