Even though the countdown isn’t up yet, Kotaku has already received confirmation that Chrono Trigger is being ported to DS– and its North American release has also already been confirmed for this holiday season.

The port will be adapted to make use of the touch-screen, and it will also feature a new dungeon and some kind of wireless play. (Surely you didn’t expect cheap-’n-fast direct port?)
