So, I never really followed up on this post, but because of it I learned of M.U.G.E.N., a video game engine people use to make their own fighting game characters. Then today a friend linked me to a video on niconico of our favorite mascots, Colonel Sanders and Donald McDonald, duking it out. I couldn’t find a copy on YouTube (curses!), so here is the video if you have a niconico account. (Donald wins, if you care but can’t watch.)
In the meantime, I did find THIS video: clearly the Colonel and Donald put aside their differences and unite to fight evil. And by evil, I mean Dragonball Z, Fist of the North Star, Fate/Stay Night, and a few other series.
Also I’m seeing a couple of posts in Japanese about some “secret” related to Haruhi, Lucky Star, and the word “break.” It might be nothing remotely interesting but I’ll look into it when I get back– though I’m willing to bet if it’s something worth knowing Canned Dogs‘ll pick it up before too long.
Okay, ero-gamers of the world: I know you like Type Moon. I know this because I feel like if I see another freakin’ figure from Fate/Stay Night, I may implode. (Thanks a lot, Randall.)
So, then, a couple of you might be excited to know that Type Moon is going to put out a mega crossover drama CD, featuring characters from F/SN, Tsukihime, Melty Blood, and various others.
It’s going to be called All Around Type Moon, but I think it would have been more accurate to call it something like Type Moon: RESERVoir Chronicle. And have a white Arcueid and a black Arcueid that can pass items to each other by eating them. And Type Moon should change their name to CLAMP Moon. Seeeriously.*
* No, not seriously. I’m kidding. It’s not like CLAMP was the first to cross over their works, either. ;>
