Well, I promised to have it up tonight, so here it is! The main points I gleaned from my interview with FUNimation CEO Gen Fukunaga:
Geneon titles are due to start coming out as early as the end of August. ADV is tougher but with luck we may see them as early as this fall.
Some ADV titles may go straight to box sets if they’re a bit weak sales-wise, but most will be released where ADV left off, as is the case with all of the Geneon titles.
FUNimation’s plan for subtitles is to get the subbed versions of new acquisitions out on the ‘net as fast as possible while working on the dub release in the meantime.
Coyote Ragtime Show is going to be the big sleeper hit.
