New Mai-HiME Project On the Horizon

Okay, I have to admit, I’m really not all that into Mai-HiME or My-Otome or any of that jazz– just not my kinda thing. But I’d be remiss if I didn’t let you know that 2NN reports that a new Mai-HiME project is in the works, and this one will feature a new heroine named Mao.

More info is up on the official website, and by “more info” I mean an image of the new heroine, Mao. It’s tiny, and I posted it above.

Quick update between family gatherings…

Have I mentioned that I’m in Atlanta at the moment?

  • Blah blah blah blah blah, Mai-HiME OVA blah blah.
  • Blah blah blah? Blah! City Hunter blah blah Japan and Korea cooperative project blah blah blah drama and movie!
  • Speed Racer blah blah fancy high-definition camera blah blah blah G-rated to no one’s surprise blah blah.
  • Blah blah blah Suzuka ends, blah new Fate/Stay Night manga begins– blah!

    So don’t say I didn’t tell you!

    Also I’m seeing a couple of posts in Japanese about some “secret” related to Haruhi, Lucky Star, and the word “break.” It might be nothing remotely interesting but I’ll look into it when I get back– though I’m willing to bet if it’s something worth knowing Canned Dogs‘ll pick it up before too long.
