Moon Phase has a new anime listing: Michiko to Hatchin (website will be here, but isn’t up yet). After much googling, I was able to find the following summary, translated by me and Babelfish from French into English:
After escaping from a maximum-security prison, the sexy diva Michiko meets a Hatchin, a young girl who seeks freedom while fleeing her relative and legal guardian. We will follow them in their thundering journey to freedom.
The site also offers the following image of the announcement. The anime is being developed by manglobe, the company behind Samurai Champloo and others. The rest of the article says…actually, now that I look at it, I think the French thing I translated is a translation of the Japanese anyway. Well, there ya go ;)

But, yeah. Two women on a road trip? Sounds a little bit like something Kouchi Mashimo (of Noir and El Cazador fame, among others) would be involved in, but it looks like he’s not. It’s being directed by Sayo Yamamoto, whose other director credit is Texhnolyze but who has storyboarded everything from Death Note to Gunslinger Girl (the original).
Could be interesting.
