So I dunno if any of you noticed, but I did an article for Fanboy.com on ten manga and anime to watch for in the U.S. in ‘08. They’ve been posting one entry per day since the 16th, which means they’re already more than halfway done (eep). Here are the entries so far (and yes, this is a U.S.-focused article, so many of these have already aired in ‘07– but many are being released in the U.S. in ‘08, and/or have sequels coming).
Gurren Lagann
Lucky Star
Suzumiya Haruhi second season
Gundam 00
Gakuen Alice
Code Geass season 2
More to come, of course, so keep an eye on Fanboy.com for the rest of the list. ♥

I’m sure you’ve all figured out that I’m a complete anime nerd, but did you know that I am also a complete dork for the holiday season? It’s true. I like it when stores start playing holiday songs, even when it’s the week before Thanksgiving. I like giving people presents. I like getting them even better. And I love hot cocoa and cider and eggnog and all those other goodies. And I like decorating. Especially decorating a Christmas tree.
I told a friend I wasn’t going to do this, and then I did it and blogged about it. I worry that I take geekdom to new heights sometimes.
Just wanted to let you know that as was announced just now, I’m going to be reporting for theOtaku on weekdays starting tomorrow. But don’t worry, I’ll be reporting here too - there’ll just be a lot of fun cross-posting going on. Plus theO’s focus is a bit more on games and general announcements, so I’ll be talking about a lot more specific stuff here.
If you didn’t already know about it, theO is a pretty groovy site, one that has a heavy focus on user-submitted content like fanart, wallpapers, and cosplay photos - good stuff all around, so even if you keep up with me here, I recommend checking them out as well. I’m told that they’ve long wanted to have someone offering a bit more focus on their main news/updates page, and I’m happy to oblige ♥
