CrunchyRoll finally proves useful! CJBlackwing reports that CrunchyRoll’s Persona -trinity soul- videos have been marked as licensed by Aniplex (who does only occasional licensing work in the US). Makes plenty of sense, seeing as it was done by A-1 Pictures, a division of Aniplex…and seeing as it’s a pretty popular franchise.

So what really remains to be seen is who Aniplex would pick for localization and distro. IF it’s really licensed.

Edit: Thought I’d add: as one user points out on CJB’s blog, Crunchy Roll’s licensing notes aren’t always accurate– it could simply be that Aniplex was the company that requested the removal.
