According to a post on ToonZone, voice actress Tara Platt spilled on her website that Buso Renkin was going to air on Adult Swim (she voices Tokiko in the show), only to have the info taken down shortly thereafter.
The forum poster speculates on whether it will actually appear on Adult Swim, or if it might not be on Toonami instead, or if it’s happening at all. (They also chat a bit about what the deal is with Media Blasters’ Geneon license rescue Seirei no Moribito, which was announced for [as] but still hasn’t been scheduled). Anyway, I didn’t remember hearing about Buso Renkin on the network (and don’t see any other news on it), so I thought I’d let you know what the rumor mill is up to. Feel free to commence speculating!
John Sirabella of Media Blasters has declared on the AoD forums that Seirei no Moribito will still air on Cartoon Network as it was originally planned prior to Geneon’s demise. Sirabella also notes that he has two more un-announced titles from Geneon, and that the company isn’t interested in partially-released series, so don’t go thinking that Media Blasters is going to save everything. (Wahhh!)
Anime on DVD reports that an extra on the KITE: Liberator DVD has announced that Media Blasters has acquired the license to release Seirei no Moribito from the mostly-defunct Geneon, the first rescued license from that debacle thus far.
Hopefully that means more is on the way, however!

This entry was swiped directly from my blog over at animeOnline. It’s a little old; I’ve watched a lot more of these shows but haven’t really changed opinion on them. Part II is coming up next.
So. LOTS of new anime this season, and I’m trying to catch as much of it as possibleā¦or at least as many first episodes as possible. And I have so many yet left to watch! But, here are some of my early impressions:
